Other major features incorporated into the design include strong, fabricated steel construction and foolproof fuel system and firing controls. The Cyclotherm boiler operates efficiently on town gas, sewage gas, Sasol gas, LP gas, producer gas, heavy furnace or coal tar fuels, Sasol waxy oils, diesel, illuminating paraffin or any of the light distillate fuels. Combination fuel systems can be fitted, to enable the use of any of the gaseous fuels in conjunction with any of the liquid fuels available.

A comprehensive quality assurance programme that incorporates international standards is strictly adhered to during the manufacturing process. Welds are X-rayed, the entire vessel is stress relieved and the boiler is hydraulically tested before a test certificate is issued by an approved independent inspection authority for each boiler built. Cyclotherm boilers are pre-tested before leaving the factory. Combustion is set with carefully calibrated instrumentation for maximum utilisation of fuel and heat transfer

There are 18 models of oil, gas and or dual fired Cyclotherm boilers - ranging from 235 Kg of steam per hour to 11735 Kg of steam per hour.

Cyclotherm SA also offers THERMOLUBE, a fuel additive, which can be used in conjunction with certain fuels, to achieve better combustion and improved lubrication.
